I put Windows 7 on an HP but I have no drivers. It doesn't seem to pick up anything. No internet hardware. No USB. The keyboard and TouchPad do work. How do I install the drivers if I can't really access anything?

Is the copy of Windows licensed? If it is then my best guess is something went sideways during the install. I'd try again. If it's a cracked copy of Windows then all bets are off.

What SoCal said. Sounds like you need to reinstall windows as 99% of your drivers should be resident in your OS install.

The laptop doesn't have a DVD drive. Win7 was installed via flash drive, which now doesn't read.

I got a usb drive to work but still have the same issues. It seems the problem is that the laptop came with 8 and I'm trying to go back to 7. I'm going to try and put 10 back in here and then worry about 7 when my computer guy gets back from vacation.

Windows won't have the drivers for your laptop... you have to use another computer to download the drivers from HP and then use a USB drive to install them.

They only have the drivers for Windows 8. They work for Windows 10 also. Do you think they will work for Windows 7?

That seemed to work great. I'll keep windows 10 for now.
