KUSA - True story: A week before the 2014 draft, the Denver Broncos were not going to select Ohio State Cornerback Bradley Roby.

Too much trouble had popped up with the kid. Roby in 2014 was the Jameis Winston, Randy Gregory and Shane Ray of this year's draft.

Roby was considered a top 15 talent last year, but it the days leading up to the draft, it became apparent character concerns would cause him to fall. John Elway, the Broncos' general manager who wasn't drafting until the No. 31 overall pick in 2014, asked his staff to further investigate Roby's character.

man, that is some bullshit journalism to call roby "last year's winston". . . roby got a DUI-- winston is accused of raping a woman. . . it's not the same at ALL. . . :tsk:

And iirc Robys DUI. Was because he was sleeping in his car (I don't know anyone who would do that) and below the legal limit. He did the right thing, had some fun at a bar, didn't want to drive, went to sleep and bam got nailed anyway.
