I've scene videos posted on Youtube that are in excess of 2 hours in length, & I have 1 that's almost 2 hours that I'd like to post without chopping it up into 8, 15 minute segments. I figured that I might have to pay for the privilege of posting such videos, but I can't find any links that would take me somewhere in order to get this privilege. So what do I do?

Not sure if this will work for the lengths you need, but I did a quick search and found this: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/71673?hl=en

i am pretty sure you have to apply for a different agreement with youtube.

When you sign up, you are in the base user agreement. That can only do videos around 15-20min.

The link I posted above looks like they review the content if its over 15 minutes, probably to make sure you are just posting full episodes of TV Shows or Movies under copyright protection.

That makes seance to me. The last thing Youtube want is to get sued out of existence because somebody did that, or post porn on a general viewership site.

Right now, I've got a lot going on in preparation for this presentation in front of the joint Arizona legislative committee that's going to be formed just to listen to us. The last thing Sue, Tara & myself want to do is to bomb it because we got side track with to many side projects. If someone would be willing to make a video of greater then 20 minutes in length just so they can go through the entire approval process, to confirm exactly what's involved & how long the process takes, I appreciate it a lot.

Well, I took a shot at the link & it wasn't as complicated of a process as I feared. I barely scanned through the response they gave me, but basically they just took at my record (with I assume includes who long I've been registered & how many videos I posted) & found that no one had posted any complaints about my videos. That's it, I've been approved for the past couple of days uploading a 30 minute video, as well as reposting my nearly 2 hour long "Educational Struggles of Autistics." Even using the super-duper high speed wifi at the public library, it was very time consuming, so this is my 1st opportunity to let you all know about my success. :2thumbs:
