What's next for Andre Johnson?

We learned last week that the greatest offensive player in Texans history has been granted permission to seek a trade. With no trade able to be worked out, Johnson officially was released on Monday.

AND

Denver Broncos

With Peyton Manning set to return, the Broncos will remain an attractive destination for offensive skill players. Add to that the presence of Gary Kubiak, the former Texans coach now running the show in Denver. Just about every special moment in Johnson's career came in Kubiak's offense. Even better, Johnson would have no pressure to be the No. 1 guy with Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders already in place. Johnson won't catch 100 passes here, but it offers just about everything else.

will he sign REALLY cheap???

If you consider a 2 or 3 year deal for 8-10 mill a year really cheap then yep.

Not that I know what he will get, but this is what I would expect.

I heard Louis Riddick talking about how Johnson can still play last week, which was good enough for me. But I don't see us paying much more for WR outside of DT and Sanders.

My bet is he goes to Indy.

Can we just cut Caldwell and not take a cap hit?

...except money.

This sounds like a distinct possibility...

Miami Dolphins (http://www.broncosforums.com/teams/miamidolphins/profile?team=MIA): GM Dennis Hickey has already dumped wide receivers Brian Hartline (http://www.broncosforums.com/player/brianhartline/81831/profile) and Brandon Gibson (http://www.broncosforums.com/player/brandongibson/81288/profile), while Mike Wallace (http://www.broncosforums.com/player/mikewallace/2507763/profile)'s future remains very much up in the air. Somebody has to catch passes from Ryan Tannehill (http://www.broncosforums.com/player/ryantannehill/2532956/profile), why not the guy who grew up in Miami and attended The U? Never underestimate the Full-Circle Move.

I guess I assumed he'd be a Patriot in short order.

Im honestly ok with not signing any more WRs and just drafting again. Spend the money on the OL and defense.

I'll take Norwood a number 4. Assuming he is back from injury.

I would rather Eddie Mac come out of retirement then to have Caldwell ever put on a Broncos uniform again.

Caldwell's spot for the same price.
