The gravitational force of Colorado remains strong. Broncos coach Gary Kubiak finalized his 22-man coaching staff Friday, continuing a homecoming theme over the past three weeks.
Kubiak added Marc Lubick as an assistant receivers coach. If Lubick's name looks familiar, it should. He is the son of legendary Colorado State coach Sonny Lubick, Marc Lubick spent last season coaching wide receivers for Vanderbilt. He worked previously as an offensive assistant for Kubiak with Houston Texans for four years. Lubick began his career as an defensive student assistant for CSU, last working in Fort Collins in 2009.
A former college safety, Samson Brown joins Kubiak's staff as an assistant secondary coach. Brown, in his fifth NFL season, spent last season in Buffalo after a stint with the Jets.
Kubiak's staff features 314 seasons of NFL experience and includes nine offense coaches, seven defensive coaches, two special special teams coaches and four strength and conditioning coaches.
