SciFi on TV has been rather underwhelming in recent years with the exception of maybe Doctor Who, and that has been hit and miss with the ever-revolving door of cast changes. I've just been disappointed with the genre in general as most of my favorite shows from childhood through early adulthood were a quality prime-time staple like the X-Files, Quantum Leap, Star Trek:TNG and StarGate. Battlestar Galactica was the last series I watched with great interest. The Fringe was decent but of course it ended in 2013. I never considered Lost as true science fiction, more like a fantastical dream state drama. However, this new series coming to SyFy looks really promising though. A good old space drama with some dark foreboding atmosphere, air-locked, of course. Bring it on...
