Been thinking of that, too; seems like something's gotta give, and if you had to objectively pick NE, GB, Seattle or Denver to blow a big home game they should win easily, which would it be? :(

As for Thompson, I believe he was nursing an ankle or something the last month of the season, so maybe that's why Stewart's active instead. There's a few head scratchers there, like dropping Cornick as the 3rd OT when he's the one who's done that most of the year (when he wasn't a starter) and Clark's rarely played that way (even after losing the starting job to Cornick.) Has Schofield been active for ANY games this year; if not, that may not have been the best 3rd round rookie to get us over the championship hump. Kinda like Latimer, but at least he played a little at the end, just not today.

I REALLY hate games like this any time, because a loss is embarrassing, anything less than total dominance of a grossly inferior team we SHOULD dominate at home raises all kinds of questions, and even a blow out doesn't prove much because it's no more than we should've done. Now it's just infinitely worse because a loss isn't just an embarrassment to bounce back from next week: It's Season Over.
