Broncos brought up S Josh Bush from the PS, re-signed TE Dominique Jones (after we just released him yesterday) and signed G Jon Halapio to the PS.

This article was written before Jones was re-signed, though Legwold confirms on Twitter that we did indeed do that:

With the #Broncos signing S Josh Bush off the practice squad earlier today and Dominique Jones' return, they're back to 53 on the roster.

Kinda surprised that with our LB issues we didn't bring up Shaq Barrett. Having another S on the roster is a help, though.

I believe that would bring them to 52.

They were at 53

Cut Jones
Placed Trev on IR

That means they were at 51
Then they signed Bush putting them to 52

Then the signed Jones, and Halapio to the PS rounding that out at 10.

So, we still have 1 roster move to make!

Well, Legwold is saying that Jones is back on the 53 man roster, not the PS (he essentially took the roster spot of ... himself). Trev out, Bush in. So that would be 53. However, no one else has officially said this about Jones, so Legwold could be wrong in this case.

In case anyone was curious, Jones was released because they wanted to clear up a roster spot to claim OT Andrew McDonald off waivers (McDonald was "player A" in the Wells report, FYI). That didn't happen because the Browns were awarded McDonald, so therefore Jones was brought back:

The Broncos filled out their 53-man roster Thursday by re-signing tight end Dominique Jones. He fills the void created by — Dominique Jones, who was waived Tuesday.

The Broncos initially waived Jones because they put in a waiver claim on Indianapolis offensive tackle Andrew McDonald and needed to clear a roster spot in case they got him.

However, McDonald was awarded instead to Cleveland, which also put in a claim and has a worse record than Denver. The Browns are McDonald’s fourth team this season.

The Broncos also signed offensive lineman Demarcus Love to their practice squad. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Love was a 6th-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2011 draft. He also spent time with Jacksonville and New Orleans.

If Denver wanted a OT they shoulda signed Bruce Campbell to play that extra T role that Cornick/Clark play. A 6-6/300 extra TE with 4.7 speed and 37" arms might come in handy.

DeMarcus Love was considered a 1st round possility as an underclassmen.

I wonder how he feels about replacing himself with himself.
