ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- For the Denver Broncos, the stretch run may simply come down to if they’re willing to eat their vegetables or not.
So to speak.
Will they, if needed, continue to push back urges to unleash what was the highest-scoring passing attack in league history in 2013, to instead hit the ground running, if that is what will win games?
Talk to people around the league, and they do at least wonder if the Broncos have the patience to be patient when it’s the best thing. The Broncos, fresh off two quality wins with 80 rushing attempts combined, have found a little more equilibrium, they've settled down what an unsettled offense.
