The Seattle Seahawks knew they were going to trade embattled receiver Percy Harvin in the weeks leading up to the deal that shipped him to the New York Jets for minor draft picks. However, Seattle didn't have many options to turn to in free agency once Harvin was gone.
The Seahawks even contacted retired NFL receiver Randy Moss about joining the team after Harvin was dealt. The Seahawks reportedly looked into adding the 37-year-old future Hall of Famer, who last played in 2012, and why not?
...Even at his age, Moss may be able to crack the top four or five in the Seahawks' wide receiver rotation. Though Seattle didn't appeal to him, Moss did admit that playing for the Denver Broncos and All-Pro quarterback Peyton Manning would be tempting.
