JT can't block, should of pulled the trigger on this one. Would of been a no brainer. (yea right)

Percy Harvin is a locker room cancer. I'd rather teach someone how to block than teach someone how to behave among team mates. That would have been highway robbery at it's finest.

Buawaaaaahahahahahaaaaa might as well tossed in Von Miller.

Orange Julius is all the receiver anyone could want, and an oft-injured WR 70 lbs. lighter isn't an upgrade on his blocking, so why on Earth did Carroll think we'd even BRIEFLY consider that?

I was hoping we would unload PayMeATon.

Seattle would have had a better chance of getting Tony Gonzalez to unretire.

Can't trade JT, who would the Broncos get to replace his blocking?

Considering the Jets gave up only a 4th that could conditionally move up to a 2nd, I'd be okay with giving that up for Harvin the rest of the season. Remember, he runs back kicks very well and we can have him run those same WR handoff plays and bubble screens he already knows how to run just to give opponents one more weapon to worry about. Since we don't really have a running game, his presence disguises that somewhat.

Yeah, he's not a model citizen but when has that ever stopped us?

As for giving up JT? Never.

Harvin probably could not have fit under our salary cap anyway but if we're talking about adding him, I could live with him for a few months the same as I could with a Desean Jackson.

Q: What is the difference between a drunk guy and a stoner at a stop sign?

The drunk guy would probably run it and the high guy would stop and wait for it to turn green.

We could run jet sweeps with Sanders, too, and I wish we did; I don't know how much he's practiced it, but we DID run one with him a few weeks ago, and I was overjoyed to see it (though less overjoyed to see everybody and his brother in our backfield so it only got 2 yds; we REALLY need to work on pulling to lead block, because we SUCK at it.) With all the contract issues we have looming, I'm not sure I'd even want to give up a midround pick for a guy who can't stay healthy, starts fights and takes himself out of games. Talent's only valuable if USED.

I wouldn't mind his kick returning though; ours is terrible.

I guarantee you elway leaked this story to schefter. Nice way to publicly shame Seattle for an idiotic offer.

Folks I'm beginning to the feeling that Joel just isn't satisfied with Denver's run blocking.

ONE (parenthetical) aside in an otherwise unrelated PARAGRAPH—but you two skip the paragraph about why we don't need Harvin to do Harvin stuff, and wouldn't want a malcontnent malingerer regardless, and zoom straight to the parenthetical comment. And when I dare defend against TOTALLY NON-PERSONAL cracks about "Coach Joel," it'll be all my fault for derailing the thread. Typical.
