Except we play Seattle next. Don't anyone get their hopes up of having an undefeated season.

Arizona is better than Seattle. Just look at the division standings.

Good grief, we are only 2 games into the season. lmao

Aside from Denver and Philly, that's a list of teams that are traditional NFL laughingstocks who are often in the Top 10 on Draft Day.

Which pretty much goes to show that's it's way too early in the season to really put too much stock into what a team's record is. It's kinda funny that Mo started this thread because it doesn't really do much to help his "we're 2-0, nothing is wrong, nothing to see here" narrative.

Carolina was 12-4 last season after starting off 1-3.
Cincinnati has had been in the play-offs 3 consecutive season & 4 out of the last 5
Houston had back to back double digit win season & division titles before imploding last year due largely to being devastating by a rash of key injuries.
Arizona almost made it to the play-offs last year with a 10-6 record after starting off 3-4.

Although figure that their was a strong possibility that Arizona might go back to being the same old Cards, & Houston might struggle to bounce back from last season, Buffalo is the only team that I couldn't see having a good year. As far as the Panthers & Bengals, I was expecting them to make the play-offs again this year.

Man, I didn't think this thread would be all that offensive.

I was trying to think of the undefeated teams off the top of my head, so the thread helped me. Thanks Mo.

Im just trying to figure out why you even created it.

Because outside of Denver, the list is interesting. I expected Denver to be there.

Cincy, Carolina, Philly and Houston are all playoff teams this year (Philly by default in an awful NFC East). The Bills don't have good enough QB play. The NFC West is the only question mark for me - how good is AZ and how bad is SF? Will the West produce 3 playoff teams?

I don't know about Houston. I still think Indy wins that division. I guess Houston could be in the mix for the wild card though.

I think they are closer to the team they were two years ago than the one they were last year. I think Houston will give Indy a run for their money. Maybe Miami or Buffalo could beat them out for that Wild Card slot, but I don't see it.

I would eliminate Jacksonville as well. Everyone else at least has a tiny shot I guess.

That o-line can't block anybody. The guy who was starting at RT on Sunday is bagging groceries now. Doesn't bode well to get to 8-8.

Broncos certainly haven't hit their stride but I expect they will at some point in the season and that they will still make the playoffs.

All good teams. I believe we play 2 of those. Arizona is no joke but I believe we win that one in a big way...same with SF. Those two games are going to wake up the league.

All good teams.

For sure. I see the other two as playoff-bound but not "elite" whatever that means. Arizona has some uncertainty at QB of course.

I think, in general, the NFL wants parity. They want every team in the league being 2-1 or 1-2 after three weeks. So, settle down. Nobody is going undefeated and only a few real stinkers will eliminate themselves this early.

I would say Baltimore is still in that wild card mix as well.

A week later, Baltimore seems more logical than Houston as a playoff team. At the end of the day, it might be too much to overcome having Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting QB, which I underestimated. The NYG are really bad and losing to them tells me that Houston is not as far along as I thought.
