I know this is late, but I decided to go ahead in do it anyways in spite of the fact that most don't care for my format. Its listed as a public league, so most of the owners will be on members of this board.
League setting will be listed in the next post. As far as what makes my format different from most others:
1) You lose as many points for TOs as you gain for TDs. This means that players that cause their real world teams to lose will also cause your FF team to lose as well. So its not enough for your QB to throw 2 TDs, he also needs to not have 3 INTs/lost fumbles. A lot of owners object to this concept for an FF league.
2) Losing points for missing extra points & short FGs. Reasons are the same as above.
3) Instead of drafting a single team D, you draft an entire lineup of D players.
4) I don't do 2 RBs + 2 WR + 1 TE + WR/RB flex format because it depletes the stock of quality RBs long before the stock of quality WRs & TEs. This is what I dislike the most about the standard FF formats. My format of 1 RB + 1 WR + 1 TE + 1 RB/WR/TE Flex + 1 WR/TE Flex is closer to how real world teams set up their teams. Consequently, because your not starting 3 RB, when real world teams only start 1 or 2, the stock of quality RBs doesn't get depleted long before the stock of quality WRs & TEs.
