Let's stick with no injuries. I'd also like to see less flags, but I'll take what I can get. I want to see Juwan Thompson get some reps with the 1's, to see if he can be as good as last week against some real competition. I'm betting Roby gets a ton of playing time with the secondary injuries, so let's see what he's got too.

Oh, and go Broncos!

Even though it's preseason I hope to see the Niners have a bad memory of their first game in their new stadium.

First team domination. Offense move the ball put points on the board, defense crush their soul. Looking forward to seeing Brandon Marshall, maybe more Larentee McCray....

No matter what, no injuries, GO BRONCOS, three hours.....

No, then it's Mountain Standard Time, per the format for the continental US (and, I presume, most of the Americas, though I haven't checked.) And yeah, I hope we have a lot of early games this year, and we stay up till 5AM to see a Super Bowl with a MUCH happier ending. EDIT: Too slow; well, the rest still stands.

Yeah I knew you had different time zones, but the main one I see is EST. Everything is referred to as eastern time on international tv
Well, we mostly came from the east, so that is where all the media was till about a century ago, and most of it is still based there. Chicago (Central Time) has WGN, and L.A. has Fox no other major broadcast networks come to mind outside Eastern Time. If you look, you will probably see Pacific Time a lot, too, because of L.A. (and Hollywood in particular,) and maybe Central Time because of the Midwest and Texas, but, excepting TX, most of the US lives on the west coast, the Great Lakes or east of the Missippi River; in between lies half the LAND but few of the PEOPLE.

So many outsiders can and do easily overlook the Mountain West, understandably annoying many of its residents. Hence the common complaint the Broncos get less nationally broadcast games—and less national attention generally—than teams in media Meccas like New York City, Boston, Chicago. And NFL.com, ESPN etc. post game times in Eastern Time, even for games elsewhere.

Growing up, I got used to network shows having network TV ads that always ended with the reminder "x Eastern, x-1 Central & Mountain." I took that to mean there was some sort of tape delay in Mountain Time, since it is an hour behind Central, so I am a little curious what time Denver airs local news. The funny thing is, the infamous "film at 11" tagline for local news never applied anywhere but the east coast; if Central and Mountain DO use the same network broadcast times, that means Prime Time ends and local news starts at 22.00 in MOST of the US.

Interesting; Webster looked green but otherwise good to me last year, and all I have heard about Roby to this point made him sound much the same, without the year of pro experiece to "add color." It IS preseason though, so probably doesn't mean much except the rookie's had some good practices and/or the coaches want to see how far he's come since camp started. Much the way I and others want to see Thompson get a lot of first team vs. first team playing time, but no one expects him to take Balls REGULAR season starting job.

I wondered the same. I also wonder how well he reflects Osweilers overall progression, and vice versa. I know it's critical for the starting QB to have rhythm and chemisty with starting WRs, since that's who'll be together for nearly all of every game, but after all the talk about our last starting QBs bad throws holding back WR development, wouldn't it be nice if the backups who come in for injured WRs have some game experience with Manning? Conversely, if (heaven forbid) Manning's hurt, wouldn't it help a lot of Os had experience and chemistry with the Thomases?

Again, I know the first team will and should nearly always play as a unit in the preseason, so they get and stay in regular season synch. But until/unless the NFL drops to 3 preseason games (which is how many the first team will get together when they do; might as well get used to it,) I feel like we could spare 1 game out of 4 to stick Manning with the backups and Os with the starters so they all get to know what to expect from each other on Sunday as well as they know what to expect from their OTHER teammates in practice.

Great TD pass from Os exploiting the short field, btw; commentators notwithstanding, he led Lattimer enough I don't think the DB can make that play whether he "gives up" or not.

BroncoWave

If this and the TD pass vs. Seattle clinched the #2 spot for Oz, he needs all the game (or as close as possible) experience he can get ere Mannings imminent retirement. It seems like he's got a good rhythm going now; we need him to get experience riding and extending that. Again, IF Ozs good throws through 1˝ preseason games clinched the #2 spot, we have plenty of time for Dysert (or whoever) to grow into the job of being Ozs backup in 2020. :2cents:

If the job is still up for grabs, I think we have not seen enough of Osweiler; if he has locked it up, he needs the game experience and rhythm for when he has to do it for real. Either way, I am not ready for Dysert; the only current starters drafted after the 3rd round are Brady (6th) and Romo (UDFA,) so I would bet Dysert is far closer to the latter. Boyett should still catch that ball though, and DEFINITELY not tip a BADLY underthrown ball right to the WR for a huge run to 1st and G. Still, they called us for pushing off and again for a pick, they should call SF when they push off, too. Maybe it was a mercy non-call, considering we christened their pretty new stadium but curbstomping them. Not that the non-call changed anything.
