Just like last season and especially like last February, the Broncos' defense, revamped as it is, continues to face challenges.
At Dove Valley on Thursday for one of their last couple of solo training camp sessions, the Broncos were without their top leading tackler, Danny Trevathan and just days away from their second preseason matchup and three joint practices with the Houston Texans.
So, a week removed from their preseason victory against the Seahawks, the Broncos' offense gave the Denver defense another round of challenges as it stares down a meeting with the 49ers in San Francisco on Sunday.
