One of the last teams to bother with the formality of signing draft picks, the Broncos got busy on the first business day of June by finalizing four-year contracts with second-round receiver Cody Latimer, sixth-round center Matt Paradis and seventh-round linebacker Corey Nelson.

The Broncos and St. Louis Rams were the only two NFL teams who had yet to sign a draft pick through Sunday. There is no hurry, though, because since the most dramatic change in the 2011 collective bargaining agreement, all draft picks are pretty much slotted into contracts.

For instance, Latimer as the 24th player selected in the second round should receive roughly the $965,000 signing bonus and four-year, $3.6 million contract that Baltimore linebacker Arthur Brown received from the same draft slot last year.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- A day after signing three 2014 NFL Draft picks, the Broncos' front office got back to work.

Fifth-round linebacker Lamin Barrow officially signed his rookie contract on Tuesday.

Barrow earned second-team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press and coaches after his senior season, when he led LSU in tackles.

In his collegiate career, the 6-foot-1, 237-pounder played in 51 games with 28 starts. He finished with 230 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, adding seven pass breakups, seven quarterback hurries and four fumble recoveries.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- As expected the Denver Broncos got two more signatures on the bottom line Tuesday and have now signed five of the team's six drafted players.

Tackle Michael Schofield, a third-round pick, and linebacker Lamin Barrow, a fifth-round pick, each signed a four-year contract Tuesday. That leaves cornerback Bradley Roby, the Broncos’ first-round pick last month, as the team’s only unsigned player.

The Broncos continue to trade proposals with Roby’s representatives, but as of Tuesday afternoon a deal did not look imminent.
