ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos' roster now stands at 90 players.

On Monday, the team announced six transactions, including three signings, to reach the offseason roster limit.

Safety Charles Mitchell, linebacker Chase Vaughn and wide receiver Greg Hardin -- a college free agent who did not participate in last weekend's rookie minicamp -- were signed.

In addition, defensive end John Youboty (Achilles) was designated as waived/injured, while defensive tackle Mister Cobble and punter Steven Clark were waived.

We don't plan to punt. Of course, if that was the case then why pay the punter a buncha money? The rookie camp trial for the kid punter must've gone very poorly. If your punts look like Charles Barkley warming up on the golf course, then you're not gonna get a chance to dethrone anybody...

It's obvious that Colquitt isn't as bad as the armchair quarterbacks think he is. #GoColquitt

He is, Carol, but he doesn't exactly have a lot of guaranteed money tied up and if a punter on a rookie wage can out-punt him for $2-3 million cheaper, why not? Nothing wrong with some competition.

Maybe we just wanted to threaten him with competition, see how he responds. If it's poorly, then maybe we bring somebody else in next year to really try to unseat him. They don't call it the Not For Long for nuthin. Hopefully he has a bounce-back year to being great.

It's been a while since I've seen a rally cry for a punter.

So much for your guy Wave.

I'm still keeping him as my adopted Bronco. He'll be a Bronco forever in my heart. Unless he goes to an AFCW foe or NE, Balt, or Pitt. Then he's dead to me.

It was a rookie camp. I think OTAs are in June.

The first OTAs are at the end of May.

OTAs: May 28-30, June 2-4 and June 16-19

Mandatory minicamp is June 10-12.

Many teams have been signing draft picks but not Broncos. One reason: When you sign a drafted player, you've got to cut a player.

And there goes Mister Cobble...

The Broncos will just have to cobble together a Defensive Line without him.
