Going to come off as a homer but Barrett and bibbbs both have nice potential. Bibbs showed horribly at the combine but it was revealed later that he was coming off a turf toe episode. Barrett is a freaking gamer with a non stop motor, unreal work ethic and sneaky athleticism. Should make the squad as a special teamer. Ran in the mid 4.5s at 260 during the rams pro day

I don't know who he is, but we could use more safety depth. Seriously, we're over the 90 person limit on the roster and how many are actually safeties? Moore, Ward, Duke ... is there anyone else currently signed? That was one thing I wish had been addressed during the course of these three days (at least we picked up some UDFA RB's).

In a few hours following the announcement of Mr. Irrellevent, signifying the end of the draft, the Broncos agreed to terms with 15 college free agents to the roster.

While these players went undrafted, it should be noted that in each of the past nine years, a college free agent has made the Broncos' opening-week roster. Last year that player was running back C.J. Anderson.

There are currently several players on the Broncos' roster that originally entered the league as undrafted free agents. That list includes starters such as tackle Chris Clark, punter Britton Colquitt, cornerback Chris Harris Jr., kicker Matt Prater, safety Duke Ihenacho and wide receiver Wes Welker.

See below for the players the Broncos agreed to terms with as college free agents:

It's funny that people are upset over us not getting a guy that every team passed on ~7 times.

People get stupid about the draft. They pick their favorite players and one of three things happens.

1.) Another team gets them and Elway is an idiot for not mortgaging our future by trading up for a player they think is awesome.
2.) We let them pass by us, and pick another player. Elway is an idiot and doesn't know how to spot talent.
3.) We actually pick the player, and now said poster is magically a savant.

Sadly, I don't know shit about any of these dudes. We had a pretty mild UDFA period as far as big names are concerned. I'm pretty psyched about Isaiah Burse. Apparently prior to the draft, he was asked who he idolizes, etc. He said Welker, and he also said that if somehow he got onto the Broncos squad, he would pick Welker's brain the second he touched down in Denver. He reminds me of a combination between Welker and Steve Smith. Short, fiery, aggressive, not afraid to stick his nose in there, and has short area quickness.

Edit: Not very fast straight line speed.

Here's my pick out of the UDFA's to not only stick, but be a starter this season:

P Steven Clark- 6'5 231

http://matchbin-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/public/sites/577/assets/HZH2_Clark.jpg

Steven Clark's punts were drop-dead gorgeous.

They were high, they were driving and they had an uncanny ability to land in the shadow of an opponents' goal post, hit like a wedge shot, and stay there.

Today, Clark is preparing for Saturday's East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla., after spending a week of trying to impress pro scouts as the first of eight Auburn players who will appear in all-star games this season. After Saturday, he'll work toward the NFL Combine, the high-profile showcase where he'll kick in front of NFL scouts. He'll do it as well in Auburn's Pro Day and beyond.

Sharp scouts will know this: Clark was good for Auburn all season, and especially clutch in the biggest games of the year. He averaged 42.5 yards per punt, but the eye-popping numbers were this: Clark saw his punts downed at the 1, 1, 2, 4, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9-yard line against Georgia, Alabama, in the SEC title game and the BCS Championship Game. Only five of his 70 punts were returned in 2012. Only five of 50 punts were returned in 2013.

"I had a great coverage team, too, that helped me out in that regard. We did do a great job keeping teams backed up," Clark said.

The Broncos currently have the most overpaid, inconsistent punter in the league. He killed us last season with his worst punts at the worst times. In with the new...

Sure, but there is a difference between that and openly bitching and complaining that they didn't take the player you wanted. (Not accusing you of this, just saying in general)

I don't think I've seen anyone doing that at all this year. There were some homophobes hoping we didn't draft Sam, but I haven't seen any blatant bitching about a specific guy who Denver didn't draft.

Here's my pick out of the UDFA's to not only stick, but be a starter this season:

The Broncos currently have the most overpaid, inconsistent punter in the league. He killed us last season with his worst punts at the worst times. In with the new...

He's 6'5", 231? He should be a QB! Anyway, I agree - we overpay Colquitt. Let's give this guy a shot.

He was certainly overpaid last year considering how many times he actually punted last year. Prater on the other hand had to swing that leg a lot.

Was Colquitt really that bad last year? I don't really remember.

He was 23rd in the NFL in gross average, and 24th in net average kicking in altitude. More importantly, his worst kicks came in crucial situations.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos' run of having at least one undrafted rookie on the 53-man roster -- a streak that reached nine years last summer with running back C.J. Anderson -- offers hope to the 15 players who agreed to terms with the team Saturday night after the draft. Repetitions might be scarce, but if you make the most of them, it can take you to the starting lineup of a conference champion, as Chris Harris Jr. has shown the last three years.

But perhaps none of this year's crop of college free agents has more possibility before him than wide receiver Isaiah Burse, a 5-foot-10, 188-pounder who could immediately help on punt and kickoff returns, where the Broncos have a clear vacancy after Trindon Holliday's free-agent departure. But Burse could also develop into a slot receiver.

"Obviously with Burse, he’s a good slot, very productive receiver, so he’s a dual return man -- especially punts," said Head Coach John Fox. "Obviously that helps his chances. We let them compete and see how that works out but it’s definitely a skill set that we were impressed with.“
