View Full Version : Kyle, lose the bangs! (merged)

Yeah, this seems trivial. But Kyle Orton has GOT to lose those stoner, frat-boy oily bangs. There's probably a deep widow's peak under there, or maybe just a prematurely receding hairline. No matter! ANYTHING would look better than those long, greasy bangs over his forehead.

S**T, he's making millions now. Spend a few on a decent hair stylist, for chrissakes. Maybe a Marine high-and-tight - be partially balding and PROUD. Or maybe a short top that lays over both sides of the widow's peak. Whatever.

Sure, Orton may never be a GQ centerfold like Brady, Quinn or Sanchez (or who knows?). But the CU-Boulder pot-head look does NOT inspire confidence. I'd bet that a cleaner, meaner look would inspire his own self, and his team mates as well.

 From Plummer to Cutler to Orton.

Our QBs have not been candidates for modeling in GQ, have they?

If Orton cuts his hair and Denver loses a game, I will slap you.

please tell me you're female! because if you're a dude, starting a thread about orton's appearance is bad enough, but the GQ centerfold comment is just creepy. . . i mean, is it your opinion that those QBs are centerfold material, or do you actually read fashion mags and know who they've posed for?

either way, not good. . . .

Hmmm . . . the Samson Syndrome? The strength is in his hair?

Here's to a neckbeard and about 12 more inches down the back!

GEM, Sanchez won...

And dogfish, I'm a gay man. But just look at star QBs over the years. Orton's current look doesn't cut it. I've just picked up on Brady, Quinn & Sanchez from internet buzz - I don't cyberstalk them.

I hate threads like this. The NFL isn't about who can get in GQ magazine. It's about ******* winning! We ******* won today! Shut up about the damn hair and beard, and just appearance in general. So damn annoying...

All I'm sayin is that Orton needs a better look. Couldn't hurt. Might even help his confidence - he wasn't exactly a powerhouse today. Two field goals and a lucky tip ... hardly Superbowl material. Blame the splint and the glove if you want. (Hmm ... what other celebrity wore just one glove?)

Orton should totally rock the one glove look like Jackson. That would be pretty sweet. His touchdown dance can be the moonwalk.:elefant:

The "other celebrity" didn't have 15 stitches in his index finger.

The "other celebrity" was never pummeled by a linebacker at full steam.

And Orton never danced like a wall flower, that I know of . . .

To quote my friend (who doesn't really watch football), Orton didn't really win. He threw two passes in a row that should have been picked and one had a miraculous bounce. Only the receivers should have been celebrating, all he did was throw it into triple coverage repeatedly.

Lol.

Well, I guess I'm sorry I started this thread. I just thought Kyle could use a little help, style-wise. And it might boost his self-confidence.

In any case, Kyle and the Broncos got a miracle win, and Cry-Baby Cutler got HUMILIATED!!!

All is right with the world.

Y'all can just forget about my comments about his look.

You have got to be kidding - We win our first game of the new season, and this thread is about Orton needing a different hair cut - UNBELIEVABLE. Maybe he could get a new haircut like JC got - and then throwing 4 INTS would be "fashionable" :tsk:
