DENVER - Denver's mayor has proclaimed Thursday as Denver Broncos Appreciation Day.

"After a historic, record-setting season, the City of Denver is asking fans to sign a Thank You card to the Denver Broncos team and coaches for a season that united the Broncos nation in orange," the City of Denver said in a news release.

The online card can be signed here. (on link)

It says "To the Broncos Team and Coaches - What an awesome, historic season! Through your grit and determination, you brought us together as one, united in orange. We have so much to be proud of and we can't wait for next season! Sincerely, Broncos County"

The website says "this is a test GroupCard" because that's how the card looks until the card is sent.

Also on Thursday, the city of Denver will rename the intersection of Colfax Ave. and Broadway to United in Orange Way and Pat Bowlen Blvd.

We need to send a card that says WTF happened? And rename the streets to 3&Out Blvd, and Fumble St.

I still can't put my finger on whether or not the Broncos over or under-achieved this season, but there is no denying that the 15 wins they did get for us made for a great time overall (for myself anyway). I almost wonder if I was more upset over the Baltimore loss still because we had a better shot last year? With all the drama, injuries, etc. with this team it really was amazing that we even made it to the Super Bowl.

Either way my postmortem on this season ends with this post. Thanks Broncos. Sucks how it ended but it was a fun season and it is up to the organization to fix the issues. I will be there no matter what! :salute:

No offense but this sorta seems like when every kid gets a medal at the end of the tee-ball season.

Agreed. This is kinda gay.

Add huge signs saying "Not too shabby" to that.

It was a good season to be a Bronco fan, just had a rough ending, but a super bowl appearance is nice. How soon we forget how wrecked this franchise was just 3 years ago.

They get Broncos appreciation day....when do the fans get a fans appreciation day? Or is that when we get 20% off our normally overpriced $300 jersey? Bah....you show us some appreciation, we're always showing appreciation.

McDonald's is doing a fan appreciation thing. Does that count?

I don't remember the last time I went to a McDonald's either, but that's all I could come up with. :-/

This is absurd and misses the mark entirely... The fans have been in over-appreciation mode for two months.

Our mayor is drunk.
