A short thought on hubris. I've always held the opinion that if I'm a good fan, treat other fans with respect, wish teams injury free football, and refrain from boasting, that I would be rewarded one day. I would refrain from wearing my jersey but for gameday, talk down the team's accomplishments, and talk up the accomplishments of other teams. I thought this year was the year. Our team reflected my beliefs, and Seattle was the antithesis of them. Tonight, I was proven wrong. Our soft-ass team got dominated in every aspect of the game. Football is a violent and angry game. Violent and angry teams win the championship. I don't know what the **** I was thinking.

I don't even k ow what this means. I know what hubris is and I consider myself to be smarter than average but I just don't know what to say about this thread.
