NEW YORK - When there's no room left on the land in the northeast, they head to the water. Such will be the case this week at the Denver Broncos' team hotel.

The Broncos are staying in Jersey City at the Hyatt, which is on the Hudson River across from Manhattan. And with a throng of media expected for Denver's daily news conferences, the NFL is bringing in a cruise ship and docking it next to the hotel to host the news conferences.

The Cornucopia Majesty will be the site of the team news conferences during the week. It can host up to 1,200 people.

A few minutes ago on ESPN, they said the Broncos were on their way to practice, and no press can attend. Not sure what will be in Hall's video - hopefully, nothing more than players warming up.

I like that they're practicing outdoors, or at least that they can if they want to (the next few days are supposed to be absurdly cold). I believe the Giants facility that the Seahawks are using is only an indoor facility.

The Broncos will host their first practice in New Jersey on Monday afternoon at the New York Jets' complex in Florham Park, N.J. It's about 30 miles from the Broncos team hotel in Jersey City. On the way to practice, the Broncos plan to study game film on their iPads.

Practice should last about an hour, with a weightlifting session to follow. The weather at practice: 36 degrees, cloudy skies, windy.

The Broncos won't practice Tuesday, in part because the traditional Super Bowl media day will be held. The Broncos will resume practice on Wednesday as they return to the schedule they followed during the regular season.
