My earliest sports memories are from the early 2000s. Brian Griese. Ed McCaffery. All those RBs. Gus Frerotte. Ian Gold. John Mobley. Ashley Lelie. Deltha O'Neal. Etc.

Yeah, not all pleasant memories.

I was 18 during that. I remember watching it at McNichols arena with a bunch of other fans and then storming out towards downtown after. Crazy to think that this year I will be watching it with my 4 year old son and my dad. One of my regrets was not watching it with my dad so I am making a point to do so this year.

My dad retired from the Army National Guard in 1998, after 21 years.

1998 was probably one of my favorite years, though I don't remember it. Dale Earnhardt finally won at Daytona. There were comparisons between Elway and Earnhardt. They both came in second so many times. Before the race, Earnhardt said something like "If Elway can win the Super Bowl, I can win the Daytona 500."

That sucks. I'm 24 as well but I remember the two Super Bowls pretty well. My earliest football memory is SB31 between the Pats and Packers.

I spent the fourth quarter yelling at a second TV in the kitchen at my buddy's place where about 20 of us were watching the game. A girl who I won't identify still thinks I'm nuts because of it. We dog piled in my buddy's living room when that pass got knocked down and another buddy of mine came screaming up the block in his old 1970s jalopy about 10 minutes later and we repeated the dog pile on his hood.

I was 20. For four more days.... stationed in Yuma, az and had just gotten back from the field. I watched it at the E-club then went back to the barracks for lots of beer.

I was also 18 at the time (and I also have a four year old son now - weird). I remember watching it in my bedroom at my parents' house and not sitting down for the entire game.

I feel a little sorry for you younger folk who either don't remember 97/98 or remember them only through the eyes of a child. Hopefully we'll have one we can all remember in about a week.

My dad has always loved sports. He's not a fanatic though. He enjoys watching, but he likes different teams at different times. He was a big Cowboys fan for a long time. I remember he had a Bears jacket. He got me a full cowboys uniform. Helmet, shoulder pads, #8 jersey, all that stuff. I think I started liking the Broncos because I picked them on a video game. I really don't know for sure when I started liking the Broncos. I may have jumped on the bandwagon.

Old enough to remember going to school on Monday after Elway's three excruciating losses, proudly wearing my "AFC Championship" t-shirt each time and being ridiculed for it.

That victory was one of my favorite moments of my life.

I was 25 when the Broncos won their first SB. I watched it at my friend's house.

After the game, I didn't go too crazy because I was relieved at the end. That was a tense game.

I remember going home and turning on ESPN Sportscenter, and at some point, they said something like "for Miami, Cincinnati, New England, Buffalo, and the other AFC teams that didn't win during the NFC streak, this one's for you".

Man. I was 35.

I distinctly remember watching the '77 Superbowl at my uncles house. My love for the Broncos started that year, but became hard-core the minute I heard about the Elway trade. It was unbelievable to hear that news, and nearly matched the feeling of the 97 win.

I got pink eye the night of the game and watched it with one eye and a wash cloth on my face... But then I got to stay home from school for a couple days which allowed me to watch the parade and all of the festivities on TV.

I had four buddies that skipped school and went to the parade in Denver. Kind of regret not going with them. The next year I did go to Old Town in Fort Collins and almost got tear-gassed, or whatever it is they throw to disperse crowds.

I was 21...in a packed out bar in Riverside, Ca with several buddies of mine. I was drunk off my ass...standing on a table with two pitchers of beer, screaming at the top of my lungs. Probablly should have been kicked out that day but think the bartender was a Broncos fan.

Still remember all of the Packer fans hating me. Lol
