Broncos fan since 2007 (thanks to Sharkie :madgrin:). It's only seeing this thread a few minutes ago that the reality of the Broncos being in this year's AFC Championship game has started to sink in. Right now, starting to get emotional. But oh my word, THIS TEAM. Incredibly proud of them and inspired by them. Been great to see all the fan support (just been looking at photos of the fan rally in Denver) and to know that THIS time the Broncos will be playing on home ground.

What more is there for me to say except ...

The Patriots will have to play from behind again; only this time, they will not be able to surmount a comeback. Denver will out-physical New England and win by two touchdowns.

I'm pretty nervous too. The last time I watched the Broncos AFCCG, it was Jake the Snake. Thankfully, we have Peyton, but no defense. I don't want to lose like last time.
I'm trying not to think about that game, the first and only time Denver lost an AFCCG at home. Chances like that come along rarely: Facing a wildcard team at home in the AFCCG, knowing whoever won would destroy THOSE Seahawks in the SB. It often seems like every season since has been a failed attempt to recapture that missed opportunity. With the possible exception of when Brady missed the whole season, this is the weakest the Pats have been in the past decade, and—even with injuries—this is the strongest Denver team since '05: GET IT DONE!

Seriously, I almost wouldn't care about the SB as long as we're not subjected to Brady—with his Ugg boots, bitchy supermodel wife, perfect hair and perfect ego—isn't the first QB to start 6 Super Bowls. And I don't want NE to EVER win another one till Belicheat's gone, so the question of whether they'd have won ANY without Spygate (i.e. whether they have even one CLEAN championships) remains forever. Plus I want to crush McDumbass' offense so badly he's traumatized into retirement.

This team's had our number the last few years, but we have nearly all the advantages this time: GET IT DONE! I won't miss Thompkins, but don't really fear him or Dobson as long as we stop the run, our LBs cover Vereen and Champ can play the whole game on Amendola. I wish Thompkins a healthy offseason and DT a healthy AFCCG and SB.

In hindsight, yes, everyone should have been on the same page immediately as to what decision was going to be made. But I rather they take a timeout and think about things, than rush into a brainless decision.

The Patriots just missed on a couple of deep passes in this half. I believe, unfortunately, that next half the adjustments are going to lead to some big plays for them. Those four points were huge. I understand not going for it, truly, but as a fan you always want your team to go for it when you're in the moment, haha. Goodness Tom Brady is horrendous on those deep passes today.

I think the field goal was the right call there but you can't call the time out that early unless you're positive you're going to go for it on 4th down. Good D there to close out the half. The first time we settled for 3 was disappointing, but I think Denver played an outstanding first half.

This game has a way different feel than week 12 felt in New England.
