AFC championship game opponent... battle tested ?? or just Lucky?

so this is my first post... first of all i am a bronco fan..

so looking at the pats record this year, they seem to be pretty good.. they have this 12-4 record..

but if you look closer they have wins with a close margin of 7 points or less in 7 games.

the games they lost in were all under 7 points difference , most of the lost games were 4 points or less.

so my point is that they seem to be lucky or they just know how to win by the narrowest margin.. i find it that they won those 3 games with crazy come backs as pure luck.. i mean come on man, how can you do that so many times in one season? (i am talking about the streak with the broncos, texans, and browns.. oh throw in the Saints game too.. geez.. )

anyways, luck has to run out for them.. this year it is the time for the Broncos to just blow the competition out of the water..

what are your guys thought on this, battle tested or lucky?

However,

Here are the records of each Patriots team for the last 11 years.
12-4, 12-4, 13-3, 14-2, 10-6, 11-5, 16-0, 12-4, 10-6, 14-2, 14-2

That's 138-38 in the last 11 seasons, for a .784 win percentage. What they do isn't "luck."

Usually winning close games is a sign of a good team. Good teams figure out how to finagle a win when it's close. Bad teams let it slip away.

Welcome. I would say this year has been a combo of really good luck and good play. We lost to them because DRC got hurt and ball had a fumble. If DRC doesn't go for that pick before the half its a diff game.

I'd say the Pats "luck" wad was blown when they drafted Brady with the 199th pick. Since then it's been a well oiled machine (though the oil was dirty at times).

All i know is we were up 24-0 and yet they still found a way to win the game. Every team needs a bit of luck at times but the Patriots are a good team and they find ways to win. To quote Vin Diesel "You can win by an inch or win by a mile it doesnt matter. Winning is winning".

Brady and Belichick have done a damn good job with this team over the years as MO has shown. As a football fan, I find them fun to watch, but too bad they'll be watching the Superbowl from their couch this year:D.
