Both championship games have opponents that are as close to carbon copies of each others as your ever going to find:

QBs
Broncos (Manning) & Patriots (Brady): Veteran pocket passers who can read opposing D like a book, make the perfect pre-snap adjustment & throw any pass with accuracy.

Seahawks (Wilson) & 49ers (Kaepernick): Young collage/pro hybrids who've succeed to do something that Tebow never did, throwing the ball with good enough accuracy.

RBs
Broncos & Patriots RBs Committees: Just how much of their success is tied to the fear that everyone has of their respective legendary QBs?

Seahawks (Lynch) & 49ers (Gore): Veteran & established Pro Bowls who are the focal point of their respective Os.

Offenses
Broncos & Patriots: Creates balance with effective running games that complements their passing games.

Seahawks & 49ers: Creates a relative degree of balance with their read option, zone option, etc. offense. Yes, they can throw effectively, but I don't recall seeing them attempt a pass for greater than 20 yards. Their “smoke & mirrors” option plays don't give the WRs the opportunity to run any further down the field. That's their Achille's heels.

Defenses
Broncos & Patriots: Bipolar, they can be so good & so bad in the same game. Both also have a lot of injury problems. That's their Achille's heels.

Seahawks & 49ers: Making defense a top priority has enabled both of them to become elite.
