LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Washington Redskins defensive lineman Chris Baker fulfilled a lifelong dream on Sunday by going to an NFL game as a fan. Of course, he did so a fan of another team.
Baker was decked out in Broncos gear and proudly hoisted signs in the stands as Denver hosted the San Diego Chargers in a divisional round playoff game this weekend.
It was a return trip to Sports Authority Field at Mile High for Baker as the Redskins were blasted 41-25 by Peyton Manning and Co. at the same stadium in October.
As it turns out, Baker was actually there to support his former high school teammate, Terrance Knighton, who is now a starting defensive tackle for the Broncos. The pair played together while attending Windsor High School in Connecticut.
