What to do, what to do.

At some point Sunday, the Bengals, with three quality wide receivers to put in the offensive huddle, will likely line up with all three on the field and then run the ball out of the look.

That's something three-wide offenses, Broncos included, like to do to a defense. The thinking is defenses add at least one cover cornerback and take out a linebacker to deal with the receivers while usually adding lighter pass rushers to one or two spots up front as well.

And then an offense that can block at the point of attack finds itself running against a smaller defensive formation.

With Carson Palmer at quarterback to go with plenty of production on the outside in the likes of Chad Ochocinco, Laveranues Coles and Chris Henry, Bengals running back Cedric Benson has the potential to be the kind of inside runner to give a defense trouble in those situations.

It could, and would likely, push the Broncos to go with their "big nickel" look, which would add a safety as the fifth defensive back instead of a corner. That would add a few things for the linebackers to do in coverage, especially in the middle of the field, but the Broncos would have a little more bulk to deal with Benson.
