Well 27 years ago today is when the drive happened. It's both a special time for me as a Broncos fan and also because I was born in a Denver hospital during it. A TV turned on the delivery room while my mother was in labor so the doctors didn't have to miss it. This was after my dad had already had to drag them out of the lounge to the maternity ward.

I came out of my mom crying about the same time that the Browns fans came out of the stadium crying.

Was destiny for me to be a Broncos fan! :)

At any rate happy Drive Day and here's to tomorrow's playoff game!

Edit: And the title says old instead of ago. :/

I was 16 and attending Campion Academy in Loveland at the time of "The Drive". I remember running outside and yelling and celebrating after that game. Got let down after the SB but at the time it was one of the best games and days i ever remember as a Bronco fan.

I was in the Navy watching the game in a bar on the Armed Forces Television Network in the Thailand. Fun times.

Hopefully we don't have to win tomorrow's game in such dramatic fashion.

I was nearly eight years old. It was the single event that made me a Bronco fan, and I've never looked back.

I was drinking shots of Bacardi, by the time the field goal was kicked, I thought it was no good!
What a game, what a great memory, (what I can remember anyway) :)

Wow..what a game. Elway classic. I was starting college in texas and living in Los Colinas in Dallas with a psycho chick from hell. A few weeks after the drive game, I escaped from her by getting a uhaul truck while she was at work an d moved out before she got home lol I dont even think I left her a note. I moved to a secret location and never saw her again. lol

I was a charming and handsome young man in his early 20's watching the game in my friend's dark and depressing living room while coughing on his parents cigarette smoke.

I remember feeling very bad for the Browns and their fans.

I was 24.

I was 24 also. My dad was a 27 yr Broncos season ticket holder. Him and I didn't miss a home game that year. He is No longer with us. I remember watching that game with him on TV and how excited we were.

Happy Birthday buddy!

I was 16 and too nervous to watch. So i set the VCR to record the game and went squirrel hunting for a couple of hours. I still have the VHS tape and even a VCR player to watch it from time to time. The commercials were as classic as the game was. You could purchase a Mazda B2000 pickup for around $5,000 bucks back then. Loaded with cloth seats, AM-FM/Cassette player, and a rear step bumper.

I was a young snot nosed teenager back then. HUGE hugs, high fives and celebration after the drive with family. Very special moment for me and my family. That play put Denver on the map and paved the way for Elway to go down as the greatest 4th quarter ever.
