Focus Earns Broncos Weekend Off

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- On Monday, Head Coach John Fox said that players could have all of Wild Card Weekend off -- depending on how practice went on Thursday and Friday.

Apparently, things went well.

"I thought the guys worked hard," Fox said Friday. "We have a good bunch of guys that have worked hard all season long and it was no different today.”

"They have Saturday and Sunday off and then (they'll) be back in Monday morning."

I'd rather their focus earned them a SB, and personally feel too many of them took too much time off during the season, often during games. Between that and doing the same thing when he had the #1 seed last year... well, Fox is the coach, not I, but I'm not sure this was the right action at the right time. I guess we'll find out in a week or two.
