DENVER - Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was given a new honor to add to his resume on Christmas Eve. For the third time this year he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Manning's four touchdown passing performance in Sunday's win over the Houston Texans propelled him to reclaim the record of the most passing touchdowns in a single NFL season. He had overcome Dan Marino to set the record at 49 while he played for the Colts, but New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady pushed the record up to 50 in 2007.

As of Sunday, Manning's new record stands at 51.

The biggest surprise is that he's only won 26 of these in his illustrious career. The guy has been amazing for well over a decade now.
