In his latest interview with the Denver media after practice it sounded like Del Rio was frustrated with Champ, imo. I watched it a couple times and it sounded to me like he was getting on him, but did it in a very low-key way. Opinions?

I would assume this is it:

I have feelings that Broncos will either trade or release him after this season.

We knew Champ Bailey suffered a Lis Franc back in August. Not sure why it took this long to finally admit as much. It is what it is.

It didn't take this long. We have known this since the beginning

He's not getting traded. No one is going to pay his 9 million dollar salary for next season, including the Broncos. He will either re-structure, retire, or be let go.

I think Bailey is done guys, at least here.

It should tell us something if our coaches are not speaking highly of him.

I am a fan of champ so this is maybe just fan wishing but I do really think Champ will get better as the season finishes.. He's got something left he's just not been healthy.. I honestly think del Rio was calling out everyone and a slight dig at HOF'er will get the young guys attention warranted or not.. They are not a Super Bowl cal defense. but the Super Bowl is a lot of games away!

I agree, the guy has missed almost all of the season. It's a bit unreasonable to expect him to get in there and play like he hasn't missed a beat. He has. He'll get it back.

We'll never see the same old champ, but we will see Champ's work ethic and determination lead him back to playing at a high level I think.

Honestly if Denver wins the SB I expect Champ to retire. If they don't he may restructure or still retire.

Im not sure what you're talking about. Del Rio was very respectful of Champ. I feel like I've stepped into Oz.

I didn't listen..... but guess what coaches do? They get on players, even veteran players. If Del-rio is "getting on" Champ I have no problem with it. In fact, I think it shows a coach that isn't playing favorites to favorites.
