Hello everyone,

Long time lurker here from the State of Washington. Anyways just wanted to let everyone know that USC has hired UW's coach Steve Sarkisian. Hopefully that means that Del Rio is here to stay.

The local sports people have said, even if Del Rio does not go to USC, he will be considered for NFL HC jobs. I am hoping he stays with the Broncos, as we have had way too many DCs in the past.

his defenses are pretty aggressive and takes chances, I hope we have an offense that puts up points for a long time then.

I honestly didn't notice. It says some poster I've never heard of started the thread, but Clay's post is the first one.

It may work out well for Denver if Del Rio goes. Personally, I like him as a D coordinator. If he goes though, bring in the best defensive mind in football.

Although he has been leaps and bounds better than what we have had over the past 10 plus years... I do think we can do better. My main bitch is that the players are absolutley undisciplined. And, the Dline takes more plays off than any Bronco team I can remember. I think we have the talent and scheme, but the discipline and effort is what bothers me.

I haven't seen Knighton or Vick take a play off all year Clay. You talking about the DE's?

Looks like the OP got jibbed.

So what is the good news. I assume there is something newsworthy. We signed Del Rio to an extension?

Hopefully all the "jibs" out there are such shit that he decides he'd rather stay. Who wants to coach Jacksonville or the Browns. :puke:

I can only specifically remember the DE's taking plays off. I will continue to watch though. Vicks issue is/was discipline. The penalties he got in back to back games is what led me down this road.

Yeah. I don't see any way he goes to Jacksonville again. He's an idiot if he goes to Cleveland. As of now, I don't see anything worth leaving for. Who knows if something shocking happens. I could see him going to Atlanta or Pittsburgh. They'd be pretty stupid to fire Smith and Tomlin, IMO.

The Jets and Vikings are going to need a coach, and there's a chance that Houston and Tampa may as well.

Hopefully Del Rio will be gun shy about taking over a team without a good QB.

At-least we won't have to see one of our Coords go to take over an AFC West team for the third straight year.

I have feelings that Coach Fox might retire after this season. Elway could promote Jack Del Rio to head coach position.

You guys take way too many jibs at one another. This is a season to be thankful, not to jib and jab about peoples jobs.

Really? What makes you think that? He will be back next week. If he was going to retire he would have done it now, not come back for the season.

I don't like him as an HC. Our offense has REALLY seemed to suffer...other than against KC..... since he's taken over

...wonder what happened with Del Rio and USC at that meeting last month?

...guess I figured he was more in the running than (apparently) he was - again, up until that meeting.

Regarding the current coaches and players, like 1987, 1996, and 2012, I think the Super Bowl is Denver's for the taking if they can git-r-dun...

JMO...

That's what I was thinking. He's not very good with offenses. A team would need a good offense (complete with a QB) or a very good OC.

That's because Peyton Manning sucks.

Del Rio and Rex Ryan should trade jibs.
