Just block, baby. These guys can't beat us without the turnovers they like to create and we like to surrender. Clark's just gonna have to man up, Beadles can't let inside guys by him as he often does in the running game and Ramirez can't let Poe push through/by him. If Moreno helps the inside and a TE the outside guys though, we can win this by halftime.

Their run D's soft, and we can run counters and off tackle at their unremarkable DEs, which should tire their fast LBs by forcing them to make plays in traffic; a few end arounds/reverses can wear them out and prevent overpursuit/blitzes even if the play itself fails. We haven't run great the past month, but if we block well enough to do it today it'll take a lot of figurative and literal pressure off Manning.

Hopefully the refs don't let their DBs play "bump and bump" 10 yds downfield like everyone else has done, and call PIs and Defensive Holding when the balls in the air—WHEREVER contact occurs—so press coverage doesn't eliminate hot reads and make Manning hold the ball longer on passes. Our WRs will likely have to fight for the ball, especially if pressure or injury forces bad throws (which Berry and Flowers can exploit.)

Charles is their whole offense and our front four's SOLID against the run; Vickerson and Knighton are strong impenetrable cloggers, Wolfe sometimes looks like Pryce, and Phillips/Ayers are as good or better run stoppers as blitzers, as is Miller. That lets Woodyard and Trevathan use their speed to clean up without their smaller size being a liability. I'm more worried about keeping Smith in the pocket, but only slightly.

Their passing—WHAT passing? Against DRC, Harris and Webster even minimal pass rush should be sufficient unless Smith breaks contain for a big run, and Miller's return means teams can't doubleteam him AND Wolfe without leaving their receivers outnumbered 2:1 against our good secondary—and even then Knighton, Vickerson and Phillips/Ayers will be one-on-one, maybe even unblocked. I'd rather cover than send a sixth blitzer, but they'll have trouble picking it up if we do the latter (disturbingly like the situation we're in against their LBs and NT: The whole left side could collapse early and often.)

We only have one true weakness, and know what it is: It's a tall order, but if we fill it we should have no trouble against KC at home. Note to Hillman, Ball and all our RBs: BOTH hands on the ball ALWAYS!
