With all eyes focused on Peyton Manning's sore right ankle and what it might mean in Sunday's colossal game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Broncos interim coach Jack Del Rio presented a contented face Friday after his team's practice at Dove Valley.

The contentment came from the injury report, and the fact that Manning participated in a full practice and would be ready to play Sunday night.

Asked if Manning was close to being 100 percent, Del Rio said to check with Manning.

Del Rio said that he's in steady contact with Broncos coach John Fox, who is recovering from heart surgery in North Carolina.

"He (Fox) is with us every step of the way," Del Rio said.
