DENVER — The National Football League Referees Association donated $10,000 Sunday to the Estes Park School District to help repair athletic facilities devastated by last month’s severe flooding.
The group presented the school district with a check shortly before Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins.
The Broncos were “very helpful” in making the presentation run smoothly, said Jim Quirk, executive director of the NFL officials union.
