moreno 4th string? bust.

moreno 4th string? bust.

I would say that has more to do with him being hurt for most of the preseason. I fully expect Moreno to rise up the charts as the year moves on. Same for Marshall, if he stays committed.

Same depth chart as in the preseason, if you really think he is 4th string you're kidding yourself.

I'm more curious with Lamont Jordan as the backup RB. If he's really our "second best RB", our running game isn't where it should be. Sorry but I think Jordan sucks.

Once again, it's basically a copy of the first depth chart he put out 4 weeks ago. I would be willing to bet money that the players we see on the field Sunday won't directly correlate with whom we see on the depth chart.

Marcus Thomas is, once again, a nose tackle rather than a DE. Hillis can't seems to move up no matter how well he plays.

If it really is a repeat depth chart, why issue one?

Because it's league mandated that you have to, but it's not mandated that it be accurate, and I'm pretty sure this one isn't.

hillis should be starting until moreno is starting.

Buck looked pretty good coming out of the backfield. He is quicker so it's harder for LBers to cover him. I say its a toss up.

will guess that someone will be pissy when he sees he is behind someone with a broken thumb..

I suspect that MT was able to move back to N with the addition of Holiday..

but I suspect that baker will see more back up NT and Thomas will be rotating all over the LOS..

I like Hillis as much as anyone... But I think he's better as a backup/change of pace type guy. 7-10 touches per game seems about right.

If it wasn't for the fact that we have Moreno I think Hillis could carry the ball a lot more than that and still be effective.

I don't disagree... He can handle the load, the dude is a beast. But I think in a perfect world you want him to be the 2nd part of a one-two combo that features a little bit quicker and more prototypical back. That also gives you more freedom to use him in different ways in the passing game.

I think Peyton Hillis will advanced to 1st string in game 2 or 3.
