Wesley Woodyard did not take the practice field with the Broncos on Friday for the team's final practice before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The linebacker injured his neck on Sunday in Dallas against the Cowboys, and he hasn't participated even in the team's stretches for the past two days.

Robert Ayers, who injured his left shoulder in Dallas, was present for stretches but immediately left the field. Chris Harris, who suffered a concussion during that same game, was back on the field for the second straight day.

The Broncos will release a full pregame injury report later Friday.

I would assume Woodyard and Ayers will not play this coming Sunday, with this being the best game for them to miss.

I would assume you're right Carol.

Well, that sucks. How is MJD doing this year for Jax? I would hate to see him put 200 yards on us

I'm more concerned about our pass defense than our run defense this weekend. I know Robert Ayers is one of our best against the run, but we still have the hogs in the middle, Danny T, and Irving. I think what we do against the Jags is load the box, bring 5 on almost every play and make Henne throw the ball. Our corners will be the deepest that we've been all year and we should be fine in man coverage. We've got a back up QB playing who barely completes 55% of his throws.

It might look inhumane, but I think it's time for blitzkriege.

turn up your speakers. :D

All signs are pointing toward Champ Bailey's return on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After missing the first five games of the season with a sprained foot, the cornerback is listed as probable on the Broncos' injury report.

"We're excited to have Champ back," coach John Fox said. "He's had an outstanding week."

Yep, this says that Champ is officially back and Harris will go. Too bad about Wood and Ayers, but I guess we can live without them this week? We need Woodyard to come back strong against the Colts:

Danny Trevathan is our man for that game. Malik Jackson can move to RDE and Shaun Phillips can move back to WLB.

Has anyone seen specifics about Woodyards neck injury? I can't find anything and hate seeing neck on the injury report. I mostly just want to know if he's expected back soon.

I don't think its a long term concern with his spine or anything. He was on his back when a Cowboys lineman stepped on his neck.

Danny Trevathan is our man for that game. Malik Jackson can move to RDE and Shaun Phillips can move back to WLB. I disagree. Let people play their positions and just bring the "next man up". There is absolutely no reason to shuffle everyone around.

Lenon will play MLB and Malik Jackson will take Ayers spot.

As long as they are both back for the Colts. I think we can handle the Jags without them.
