That's the way it seems. It's weird though. You'd think with all the film he studies that he would know what to expect at the beginning. But it's like the opposing defense does something and then Peyton adjusts and blows them up. It's like he has to see it in person.

Also, I think as the game goes on, the defense is so badly worn down by a hurry up offense that it really takes it's toll on them. I wonder if that will start to free up the running game later in games if the defense is tired.

On Dan Patrick this morning, Dan commented that Dungy said Peyton overthinks things. And that once he settles down and sees what is actually happening instead of what he imagines might happen, he does much better. FWIW.
