Broncos practice field under water in Colorado floods; Wesley Woodyard back from injury

Not even the Broncos were immune to the effects of the massive amounts of rain being dumped on Colorado, as they were forced to practice on the auxiliary field turf field because the natural grass fields were flooded.

But according to offensive coordinator Adam Gase, the team — in particular, the offense — appeared none the worse for having to operate in wet field and steady rain conditions.

"I don't think it really bothered anybody," Gase said.

Champ Bailey still hasn’t practiced


Last Thursday, as the Broncos prepared to face the Ravens without cornerback Champ Bailey, executive V.P. of football operations John Elway told Liam McHugh and some other guy on a special edition of NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk that Bailey would be likely to play in Week Two.

Bailey may play, but he’s yet to practice.
