It's not the warmest welcome for one of the Denver Broncos' newest players.
Linebacker Shaun Phillips reported his $120,000 Range Rover was stolen Sunday morning in Denver, according to a police report.
The theft happened between 1 and 6 a.m. in the 1400 block of Larimer Street, near the Capital Grille, according to the report.

That sucks, hopefully they catch the perp
Based on responses to the leagues concussion settlement it doesn't matter because Phillips is a millionaire. ;) Lame though, and definitely a frosty welcome even by mountain standards. Hopefully they find both car and thief, and he (Phillips, not the thief) soon has a Super Bowl Ring to make him forget all about it. :)
I'm sure his insurance agent is scouring his policy for loopholes as we speak.
Shaun: I need to file a claim. My $120,000 car was stolen.
NTL: I see. I just ran the numbers and it looks like your rate will increase about $120,000 a year. You may be better off to just go out of pocket.

why am I thinking insurance fraud?
Its a natural thought, but I doubt it. Phillips said when he signed here he was financially secure. If he needed money out of it he could have just sold it.
