It's a modified pick em league. You pick a team that you think will win. You don't get to pick that team again for the rest if the year. If that team wins, you get to play next week. That team loses, you're out of the league.

This week, I'm taking Green Bay at home over the Redskins. No way the Pack start the year 0-2.

That it did. And I know the temptation. I took Green Bay over Washington last week when the herd went with New England over the Jets. But the Patriots have a really easy schedule and I didn't want to waste that bullet just yet.

I may spend much of the rest of the year picking the team playing the Quagmires.

I am going against my own power to jinx teams by picking the Broncos over Philly. Despite the difference in preparation time, it's a fairly safe play and my second choice was to take the Chiefs over the Giants. The Indy card has already been played in Week 1.

You pick 1 team every week that you guarantee will win. If the team you pick that week loses, than you’re eliminated from the tournament. You can't pick the same team twice during the same tournament, so you can't just keep picking the elite teams every week. After 4-6 week, you have a winner & then start over from scratch with a new tournament. So you'll have about 3 - 4 tournaments per season.
