Ok people lets get this party kick started. Today our beloved Broncos put their two game winning streak on the line at Chicago. Hopefully we can get same kind of production from all three phases of the game that we got on Monday night. Let's also hope we have no further injuries. So without further delay I've the grilled fired up cooking my world famos hamburgers. :grillin:

Go Broncos!!!!!

Come on :defense: keep forcing those turnovers and let Grossman/Griese have it. :D

Chicago ~ Inactives: QB Kyle Orton (3rd QB), CB Nathan Vasher, RB Lousaka Polite, LB Nick Roach, LB Darrell McClover, G Josh Beekman, WR Mike Hass, DE Antonio Garay.

Denver ~ Inactives: QB Darrell Hackney (3rd QB), WR Taylor Jacobs, RB Travis Henry, RB Paul Smith, DB Jeff Shoate, RB Selvin Young, DE Larry Birdine, DE Paul Carrington.

Looks like Hall & Bell to carry the load, otherwise it's going to be one helluva long day for Jay

I had heard earlier that Young was good to go I guess he's not. At any rate whom ever is toting the rock just hope they are effective.

I'm excited for this game, but worried about how well Cutler can do against a Cover 2 defense like the Bears with linebackers being crazy with blitzes and dropping into coverages. He's struggled before in this scenario, I think we'll be okay though!

I'm pretty sure the article I read about KJ's return suggested that Sapp would stay at FB, and Bell return to RB.......................guess we'll see in about twenty minutes :goofy:

Just checked out the early scores. Depending on what happens here (assuming a win) the losses by all but Cleveland will put us in third place in the wild card run, but Cleveland with their very weak remaining schedule are going to be hard to catch.

Man, good thing they didn't have time to call a TO and try a long FG. Bad conditions, a couple turnovers, and lucky not to have an INT, and I feel pretty good with a 13-6 lead. Hopefully, Shanny gives them a good talk and they are a little more focused in the second half.

Requiem / The Dagda
11-25-2007, 05:47 PM
Denver needs to do better inside the ten and put teams away. There's no reason they don't get seven there. That's what separates the great teams from the good ones. Three points is nice, but seven would have been better. That's a really interesting stat at the end of the half. I'd like to get a junior back coming out of college, but these kids are showing promise playing. Even with Henry being injured and likely suspended, you have to be encouraged about how guys like Hall and Young have stepped up. It's special.

Andre Hall is keeping the offense going. The passing game isn't doing so well at the moment, credit to the Bears. We really need to start taking advantage of turnovers and good field position though. With Wrecks at Quarterback, I'm pretty sure there is going to be more turnovers.

And while the defender did a nice job of interfering (not illegally) with Marshall, it was a good pass, good call, and Marshall has to make the play. As you say, a lot comes down to execution, not just bad play calling.

Not as bad as the play. It is definately a cold/wet field, but it has just drizzled on and off. Looks like little or no rain at the moment. It has never rained hard.

Maybe, but I think the other factor is on those quick hitting fullback plays, the hole has to be in front of him, he doesn't have the benefit of the 5-7 yards to spy what hole opens.
