ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- An obviously uber-fit 35-year-old Paris Lenon looked slightly shocked at the question Tuesday when, fresh off a newly-minted contract with the Broncos, he was asked how he’s kept himself in shape in recent weeks and months.

“Well, I work out a lot," Lenon said. “I train a lot ... I feel good."

The Broncos obviously agreed. They worked out Lenon in the morning to potentially help their depth chart at linebacker, then signed him just before practice and he was back on the field as soon as they could fit him for shoulder pads.

Guess they probably knew this one was coming, but still--you can't say this regime isn't "on it". Good signing? I have no idea--but I have been impressed with how aggressively this group makes moves when setbacks arise.

Lenon's track record is solid. He typically makes the most of his opportunities

He had somewhere around 100 tackles for AZ last year, and a lot of people in AZ were pissed off that the team didn't bring him back. FWIW

Didn't we also acquire Broderick Bunkley somehow yesterday too? I thought I read that somewhere.

He's durable and he performs. One of those guys that does his job and slips under the radar

No, an article was posted from when we did actually get Bunkley.

Oh gotcha.

Bunkley and the new OL share a common background, in that they both failed a physical with the Browns before coming to Denver. I think that's why that article is making its way around the twitters and internets.

Lenon beat out Bradley for the starting job 2 years in a row. Now Bradley might lose his roster spot to Lenon. Bradley must hate Lenon. LOL

The short little fat guy with the big round head, or the comic strip from the 70's & 80's?

It does make you wonder why the Broncos just didnt sign Lenon instead of Bradley. ????

I'm not too worried. I think Jack Del Rio knows more about who to put at what LB spot than any of us do.

That's a bit of a dooms day article.
