Once again we will be running the pick'em league through Yahoo Sports.
To sign up you will need a Yahoo ID which you will be pimped for if you don't have one.

Thanks so much Canmore for doing this again this year. I just signed up - and now I will need to buy a new dart board, as the one I used last year totally failed me :lol:

You remember correctly Carol, but my solution was worse than the problem, so we will live with it at least for one more season.

I'm having an issue with making my picks. It shows that I'm a member of the group, but when I click the button to make my picks, it gives me an error message that says I'm not.

Trouble shooting across the web is always interesting. You are signed into Yahoo, correct? I got that screen when I wasn't signed in. You may try closing your browser and reopening it. A reboot may clear the problem also. Let me know.

I play in a FF league on Yahoo, so yes, I have an account. I also tried deleting cookies and restarting. No go.
I'll try to sign in again. If I end up with two accounts, can you delete the one that isn't used?

Yesterday, I logged in and picked the Thursday game. Just got done picking the rest of the games; however, I was no longer able to pick a team for "most" and "fewest" points. I now know that needs to be done at the same time as picking the Thursday night game.

So far, I only have 5 correct. My new plan is to always pick the Broncos, which I have always done, and then on the other games, I will pick the team who I feel should NOT win the game.

I knew it was downhill for me after that KC game on Thursday. Its too early to really declare an "upset" because the teams are still forming identities, but Green Bay? Colts over 49ers? Man, maybe we will look back and say the better team won that day but I just couldn't believe how many teams surprised me yesterday! I almost changed my pick to the Colts, but with a whopping 5 right at that point I just couldn't wipe the tears away long enough to see my computer clearly! :lol:

Another week down in this young season and for the third straight week we have a outright winner. This was a difficult week to pick that only saw 5 players with double digit correct games. With 11 correct games the winner is

Tied for second with 10 correct scores were MileHighCrew, La Violencia, CornMidgets and gnomeflinger. Five player tied for sixth with 9 correct.
In the overall standings, CornMidgets has tied Sharkie with 33 correct games. Tied for third are Foochacho, OldManBronco and Broncolingus with 32 correct games.

The worst thing for me was missing the Green Bay game... I had it clicked to GB, went back a few times during the week to change other picks, and for some reason neither team was selected after the games had started so it was an automatic miss.
Still looking like I have a good shot for another double digit week, and I think I've only had one real stinker and been in the top 10 all season so far. Hanging on by a fingernail but still hanging on! :lol:

I have a superstition/rule about never picking against Denver. I just figure that will be my one wildcard pick every week that could either be a win or a loss depending on how they do. I used to also have a rule about never picking the Raiders to win but now I just don't care anymore.

Before Manning arrived my superstition/rule was to never pick Denver. It seemed like whenever I did choose them to win, they would always lose.
