We got lucky with injuries last season, not the case so far this season.

Knee injury according to the Fan.

Hopefully we don't have to wait until 2014 to see him now.

His coach said it was a knee injury, but that "he didn't think it was serious." Which is code for "rub some dirt on it." Hopefully that magic healing dirt is being kept nearby and Sly is back in short order. We can't keep having these trench injuries.

DMac at 104.3 tweeted that he walked off under his own power, and a few minutes later walked towards the training room.

this happens every training camp, and every year people act like it's an unusual cluster of injuries. this happens. it's football. as long the players aren't put on IR or PUP, it's going to be fine.

Not the point. Someone that tears their ACL almost always requires assistance off the field. But players who tear their MCLs often leave the field and only find out the severity of their injury after the MRI. The reason for this is that the ACL is central to stabilizing the knee joint to bear weight but you can still move around without one of your MCLs as long as you don't cut in the direction of the tear. I've witnessed a number of players who limped off the field only to find out later that they tore an MCL.

I'm hoping Williams' injury is nothing serious.

Reports say the MRI was negative, he's day to day.

I'm starting to worry about that MRI machine, hopefully it makes it thru the season. Those things aren't cheap.

I hope it's minor. I was really looking forward to getting a sneak peak at him tomorrow at camp.
