ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Peyton Manning lofted a pass down the left side of the Denver Broncos practice field Sunday and barely had to watch it as landed in Demaryius Thomas' hands.

Thomas had split two defensive backs and, though a whistle blew, didn't slow, sprinting 30 more yards to the end zone. As he turned around to make his way back to the huddle, he turned to a group of observers and smiled.

"They didn't make that tackle," Thomas said.

Denver's coaches are confident there isn't a diva in the bunch.

Definitely the nickname is fitting.

I'm not so sure Thomas is going see much of drop in his production even through Welker. It's Welker that will have the more noticeable drop in his production.

I think Welker will take targets away from the TEs and maybe a few from Decker but I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas, Decker, and Welker all hit 1,000 yards

I could see that being possible at some point but I don't know I don't know if it would happen right away. When Manning had Stokely in Indianapolis his best season was around 70 catches for just a shade over a 1,000 yards. Manning loves working the tight end into the passing attack. It will be interesting to see how this all works out.

I remember being a little concerned drafting Thomas before Dez Bryant, but now I am so glad we did. I feel a big season coming on for "Juggernaut"!

If Demaryius "Juggernaut" Thomas can continue to stay healthy he will terrorize corners for the next decade.
