Davis recently signed a two-year contract with the NFL Network as an analyst and reporter, a deal that will give him a much higher profile than he had during his previous time (2006-09) with the network.

I always enjoyed watching TD on NFLN. I also think it will be good good for him to keep a higher profile to increase his chance to make the HOF.

Agreed - and he is better than 90% of the ex players on NFLN, who are better than @ 100% of the hacks on ESPN

No idea, but he did get married and now has two kids - maybe he was busy with that. I can't imagine NFLN would just let him go. Bias aside, he was (and will be again) my favorite person on the network.

Faulk is a really good person on network as well. RBS that know the game > Merril Hodge.

I know he did a coaching internship with Shanny not to long afterwards, but other than speculating that he wanted to give coaching a try, I have no idea.

TD and Sheftner were always my two favs on that show. I think contract problems were the root of the problem before. But I am excited that he is back.

Hopefully this added exposure can help his case for the HOF. Glad to see him back.

I suppose it's too much to hope that TD takes Michael "Tyrone Biggums" Irvin's spot in the NFLN lineup, who is by far the most annoying P.O.S on TV.

Don't hate on THE FACTOR BACK!!!
Put Davis in the Hall!

Awesome news. I'm happy to see TD back on NFL Network. I hope someday soon TD finally gets into HOF. If guy like Gale Sayers can get in with short NFL career then TD does too. Their career numbers are somewhat similar.
