View Full Version : Bronco tattoo?

As a lifelong fan I was thinking of getting one. Something simple and discreet like the horse head logo on my shoulder. What do you think? Good or bad idea.

Edit: Sorry this could probably be moved to a different forum.

There was a guy at the raiders game with a giant raider tattoo on his back, he looked like a douche

Well, it was a Raider's logo. Duh.

I would vote wait a few years. Tattoos once had a sorta kinda cool mystique, though one I will confess I never understood. Now they mostly say "I am a Hipster poser Douche", which sucks for everyone who got one previously

It would be simple like this.

Hipster poser douches usually get tattoos like a PBR Logo, Asian lettering, or something "ironic" like the Rabbit from Trix for no apparent reason. I think as long as the tattoo is discreet and actually MEANS SOMETHING to you (ala a Broncos logo) you are good to go.

Tribal tattoos, Shake. Don't forget the tribal tattoos. The kind packed with so much meaning for Upper Middle Class WASP kids from Westchester county, NY.

Also, don't forget that the Hipster poser douches are likely to think the Broncos logo is just as ironic as the Trix rabbit, and you will be at times confused with same. Its a danger to be aware of

The only thing hipsters fear more than not being looked at is being associated with anything popular. If they had a Jacksonville Jaguars tattoo I might be suspicious but the Broncos are too mainstream. I think the ultimate hipster NFL tattoo would be a Houston Oilers logo or Buffalo Bills 5 Time Superbowl Champs. Don't forget Dread, I observe these hipsters in their natural environments and study them carefully. They scare easily when approached, but the will be back and in greater numbers.

Well, I could certainly see a Hipster wearing a Michigan Panther or New Jersey Generals logo.

You can get tattoo's removed with lasers.

But the results look crappy. Sort of a "there used to be a billboard here" paint-over look.

Trust me, if they ever create a tattoo removal method that looks as good (or better) than the original, I'd want to be an investor because I would make money like selling legalized crack.

My favorite cousin decided to get a leg tattoo and eventually died of cancer that began in the same leg. Folks will tell you there's no relation but I've always wondered.

Not true. If they have the right laser, the NDYAG: Q switch, with black ink (which is what normally names are written in).. your tattoo should come out fantastic with very little to see left over. The only scaring that should be present would be any scaring left from the tattoo artist when it was originally applied. Especially white skin with dark ink. There certainly should never be some kind of huge billboard look afterwards, unless they are using the wrong laser for the removal.

Most people who do this are subconsciously saying "I am compensating for a relationship that I know is on borrowed time/could never work."

Well CrazyHorse, it looks like you have your answer. The only time it is ever really appropriate to get a Tattoo after all is when everyone says you shouldn't.
