There's no question Hillman and Ball are expected to develop into the Broncos' 1-2 running punch. And by the time they both fully develop, 1-2 may be more accurately listed as Ball and Hillman.

It's a good little article and makes me excited to see what they can do.

There is rarely development times for RBs beyond 1-2 years in the NFL. With Moreno's balky knee, I'd expect both to get quite a bit of playing time out of necessity.

This seems to be what Elway and Fox invision.

I wouldnt be surprised. I think McGahee is out of gas and Moreno is just too inconsistent in play and health. Time to move on really.

RBs have a shelf life of 3-5 years.
their best VALUE is under their rokkie contract, so...
any team would be retarded to draft a RB that would need more than half a season to develop and contribute on the field.
Of course hillman and ball are EXPECTED to be big contributers THIS year!

OUR starting RB will be the best pass blocker, of the bunch, because pass protection is the #1 job of ANYONE lined up in the backfield.

yes, PFM does change the RB dynamic and order of priority.
